As some of you may know by now, my hard drive brok As some of you may know by now, my hard drive broke the other day. I had there everything related to my patterns, books, personal photographs... (insert drama here) Well, the thing is that Auntie Aubergine has offered herself to fix it, she says she can do it in a tick. Shall I trust her? 💬 🍆- "Hello Manolete, my dear. Look, I can't check on Vicenteta today. The lady that take pictures to us has asked me to fix her hard drive." 🍞- "What do you mean her hard drive? What on earth is that? Does she even drive a car?" 🍆- "Actually, Manolete, I don't know the first word about hard drives , but at the end of the day all the junk is the same. You open it, you put a screw here, a nut there, and that's it. People nowadays is all “hard drive, hard drive” and stuff, in my days we didn't have hard drives, we didn't even have drives, and things were ok. And not only ... blah... blah... blah... 🍞- "Ehm... Aubergine, about Vicenteta, I think I can manage myself, don't worry, I'll call you later, ok? Bye now. Bye. Yes, yes... bye." 🍆- "… nowadays veggies, let me tell you, they don't know how to fix things. Your hard drive is broken? Fix it, lady! Gazpacho is the most amazing thing that a human be Gazpacho is the most amazing thing that a human being has ever created, (appart from siesta, of course). Specially in this heat, it's the only thing that can save us. I dream of glasses of cold gazpacho... But life, which has a funny way to express herself, has decided that I should have an stomach condition that prevents me to eat part of the ingredients of gazpacho. So, no gazpacho for me. There's also the other thing about the loss of everything I had in my hard drive, but I'll tell you about that later. One could say I'm not doing great this days. But, You know what? I don't really care. I'm ok. There're more things appart from gazpacho. Watermelon, for instance. The patterns of the basket and the placemat are included in my book La Pandilla Gazpacho. Soon available an ebook version in English. ************ El gazpacho es lo más maravilloso que ha creado el ser humano, a parte de la siesta, y con estos calores es nuestra única salvación. Yo sueño con vasos de gazpacho fresquito. Pero la vida, que tiene un peculiar sentido del humor, ha hecho que debido a ciertos problemas estomacales, tengo que retirar de mi dieta prácticamente todos los ingredientes del gazpacho. Entre esto y la pérdida de mi disco duro (esto os lo explico otro día), digamos que estoy pasando por una temporada un tanto incierta. Sin embargo tengo esperanza y estoy contenta. Hay más cosas a parte del gazpacho, como por ejemplo la sandía.
